About NCHFH
Incorporated in 1993, Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and serves Coweta County, Georgia. Over the past 29 years, NCHFH has constructed new homes, renovated and repaired existing homes, and contributed to projects that support local neighborhood revitalization efforts. In addition to these efforts, NCHFH has tithed funds from its local operation to support relief efforts for 26 families internationally.
NCHFH operates one of the most successful ReStores in Georgia and proceeds from this operation help support the organization's efforts in Coweta County. In addition to the ReStore, NCHFH hosts two signature events annually (The Great Gingerbread Build and The Tin Cup Golf Tournament). These FUNraisers, along with individual contributions and grants, raise additional funds for the organization's ongoing construction projects, homeowner education classes, and more.
NCHFH's administrative and ReStore teams include six full-time and four part-time employees. In 2021, approximately 349 volunteers contributed 8,055 hours of service contributing $222,801 in labor to the organization.
