Volunteering and Community Service with NCHFH
Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity would not exist without the generous and enthusiastic volunteers who help us provide affordable housing for those in need throughout Coweta County. The hours donated by our volunteer family saved us over $381,135 in labor costs last year! Volunteerism at NCHFH encompasses a wide variety of interests and skills so that you can find the opportunity that’s right for you.

We have volunteer opportunities for the following areas:
​
Construction Site: Our construction site is supervised by our Construction Director and skilled volunteer construction leads. Volunteer shifts begin at 7:45 AM and end at 4 PM for new construction, and shift times vary for Brush with Kindness critical home repair projects.​
​
We do not have any ongoing construction projects at the moment. If you would like to be notified of future opportunities, please insert your information below to get added to our email list.

ReStore: Our ReStore is open for volunteers from 10 AM - 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday. We can always use help from volunteers who are willing to perform various tasks in a retail environment. The tasks volunteers may help with include, but are not limited to:

Woodwork/furniture repair

Electronics and lighting testing and repair

Cleaning and organizing merchandise

Ride along as the truck assistant with the Donations Ambassador

Customer service duties
