Our Construction Volunteers work alongside Habitat staff, skilled crew leaders, and fellow community members to help build safe, affordable homes for local families. No construction experience is required, just a willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and make a meaningful difference.

What to Expect as a Construction Volunteer
Construction volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year as homes progress through each phase of construction. Volunteer shifts typically begin in the morning and conclude in the early afternoon, with a safety orientation provided before work begins. Our experienced staff and volunteer crew leaders will guide you every step of the way, making this a rewarding experience for both first-time and returning volunteers.
Depending on the stage of construction, volunteer tasks may include:
